The new framework will replace EEM’s existing agreement, which is due to expire in November, with the replacement expected to go live in February 2027.
Up to 80 positions will be available across 10 lots, covering major remediation works, fire safety consultancy, and the supply and installation of fire doors.
Two of the largest lots will focus on external wall, façade and cladding remediation, cavity barriers, fire doors, intrusive surveys and wider refurbishment works.
Contractors appointed to the framework will also be expected to support clients in meeting Building Safety Act requirements, including regulations covering higher-risk buildings, Gateway 2 and Gateway 3 processes, and Golden Thread information.
The framework will also cover active fire protection works, including fire alarms, sprinklers, smoke control systems, evacuation alert systems, risers and fire dampers.
EEM said the agreement will provide access to a range of consultancy services, including fire strategies, fire risk assessments, compartmentation and cladding surveys, EWS1 forms and fire engineering.
The framework will be open to councils, housing associations, NHS organisations, emergency services, schools and universities.
Tender submissions will be assessed on quality, which accounts for 50% of the score, followed by price at 40% and social value at 10%.
The deadline for tender submissions is 28 October, with successful contractors expected to be appointed in January 2027 ahead of the framework going live the following month.
